Rockie Mountain Saddle Club

The Rockie Mountain Saddle Club (RMSC) was established in 2000 and serves as one of the premier riding clubs in Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.

Located at Stable Foundations in Wellington, CO, RSMC promotes a family-oriented horse show and gymkhana experience to encourage a spirit of fair competition and sportsmanship while developing leadership, initiative, and accountability among its members and contestants.

Our club offers English, Western, and Gymkhana
shows in addition to our end-year Halloween Spooktacular Show.

Martie Harrison-Dumm

Martie Harrison-Dumm is currently serving on the Board of Directors. Her family background is farming in Nebraska, but because her father was in the military, she couldn’t live the farm lifestyle or work on the farm. The bright side, however, is that she has seen so many parts of the country! She settled down in Wyoming (because her dad finally retired in Cheyenne) and attended the University of Wyoming. After starting a family in northern Colorado, she also attended Colorado State University. Her specialty is tax and accounting, but her love has always been large animals and livestock. Her husband is a large animal vet, and specializes in black angus. She’s currently a co-leader of a local 4H club, been involved with horse riding for many years, and now shows at local saddle clubs. Her kids are older now, but they were active in the horse project for the Weld County Fair. She enjoys the community atmosphere at Rockie Mountain Saddle Club and is excited to support this organization.

She also has spent several summers volunteering at a local ranch helping with programs for at-risk youth and the rehabilitation of rescue horses.

Board Terms

Our board members serve terms and are voted in, by you the member. They each serve limited terms and at the end of their term are either re-elected ( with the exception of the President, who’s limited to a 4-year term). We want to make sure that things remain fair on our board while allowing others the opportunity to serve on the board to have a profound impact on our local riding community.

Monies! 💰

Where do donations go?

Because it’s your club and without your membership and participation, we feel that you ought to know where your monies are spent. We are also open to feedback and suggestions!

  • Grounds Upkeep (it takes a lot to keep the area in tip-top shape as well as the facility maintenance)

  • Prizes! We want to provide the members/participants with fun prizes that you are proud to have earned!!

  • End of Year Awards - we know you work hard all year on leveling up and earning points for this, so we want to make sure it’s special!

Without your support this club wouldn’t exist and we wouldn’t have the opportunity to serve the community and our lovely horse tribe.
